Cebu spot is spotted: Talisay Beach

Cebu is now becoming a tourist magnet. What do I mean by that?

Aside from wearing the crown as the Queen City of the South, Cebu is also booming with centralized businesses alongside growth among provinces. You may be a korean, or a Japanese reading this; perhaps an American or a lonely European traveler. As a blogger, i present to you this paradise near Cebu City.

Transportation-wise, you don't have to sweat it all out since this would be less than a 30-minute ride from the city. Just make sure you know which road to take and you'll get here in no time.

The sands may not be as lustrous as boracay beaches, but one thing's for sure, this is worth a shot in your GOPRO, or with your cameras.

My family's Talisay Escapade, literally just a simple beach outing, started 2 weeks ago. I never had the intentions of joining them since their choice of beach was just near our place, and besides, that time, I was expecting them to choose a "better" beach located in Mactan Island, Cebu. They woke me up as early as 5 in the morning, and pooof! I didn't imagine packing up some of my clothes and stuffs just for a beach 'relatively' near to our house in Cebu City. (Here is a picture below)

Unlike other beaches I dreamed of going to, the beach we went to had brownish sands and its waters were, not the crowd favorite of clear blue waters as seen in Palawan and other island beach resorts (like Boracay).

Furthermore, Here are other pictures I had with a nearby landmark related to MacArthur. It was quite odd, aside from a scorching heat on our back (I was with my Mom that time we had the short pictorial), yet, It was nice since for me, history was at the back of my pictures. See these pictures below.

(I took this picture with respect to my sitting position, I had no choice! the 3 of them left me for a swim!)

(See them smile, as if we were on a high rated beach! Anyway, it was a blast! history was on their backs!)

I immersed as well so as to convince myself, SUMMER is indeed cool and fun! an hour after, I went off and ate a small packed lunch prepared by my mother. What made this escapade so memorable was the fun and the enjoyment we felt. It was as if I became a digimon and I had to fight my brother (enemy digimon), and many other childhood re-enactments we did at the beach. It was indeed memorable! History was even at our sides and, I had good pictures with the soldiers and their pointing rifles!

Talisay Beach is one of a kind. It already improved a lot compared to years before since we last stepped there.

Try visiting and exploring the Philippines and surely, you'd as well enjoy this summer vacation! :)
